Welcome!

I’m running to continue building a Livable, More Connected New Albany. Our city has experienced a rebirth this past decade and we need to make sure this prosperity reaches all of our residents. My campaign seeks to champion ideas that will continue this growth in the 4th District in order to create a New Albany that meets the needs of today while preparing for new opportunities tomorrow.

Growing up in Cross Creek, livability and connectedness were important to me even if I didn’t think of it in those terms. How do I grow up to be successful, and how do we get around? Growing up in New Albany showed me how to be a good citizen. Through the public schools and programs like Safety Town, I was prepared to gain a sense of public good that influenced my professional career.

The 4th District has seen amazing growth these past few years, and we can’t let up. I will focus on the continuing the economic and safety improvements throughout the Vincennes Street and Grant Line Road corridors. I will work to improve out streets and sidewalks so District 4 residents and safely walk in their communities, and I will ensure I am your partner every step of the way.

As your Councilman, I will bring with me nearly two decades of community engagement/constituent services that resulted in making sure city governments are responsive. I commit to hold regularly scheduled ‘office hours’ throughout the city to hear directly from you what is working and what can be done to improve our city. I also commit to host community walkthroughs to identify and deal with any found issues. I am running because I know New Albany is a great city, and we need to work hard to make sure everyone knows it.

Thank you!
